OWNER

Dr. Pafos received his medical degree in 2011 from State University of New York. He completed his residency training at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After residency, Dr. Pafos worked as an attending physician in private practice and as a hospital physician with privileges at The Katz Women’s Hospital North Shore University Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and Forest Hills Hospital. In 2018, Dr. Pafos moved to Duplin County, NC in search of a warmer climate and a family friendly environment for his wife and sons. Since then, he serves our community at Vidant Medical Center in Kenansville, NC, where he quickly established a bustling practice by raising the level of surgical and medical care afforded to patients in our area. Dr. Pafos fulfills his passion for teaching by training nurse practitioner and midwife students from both Eastern Carolina University and Duke. At Skin Tone Med Spa + Wellness, Dr. Pafos brings to aesthetics the same level of meticulousness as he does in the operating theater.

OWNER & MANAGER

Yelilsa Pafos is the multi-faceted manager and co-owner of Skin Tone Med Spa. Armed with two decades of experience in business administration and the healthcare industry, Yelilsa took the risk to pursue her dream of opening her own business. Yelilsa is a gentle force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to help clients look the way they want to feel; confident and happier! She is invigorated when witnessing her client’s satisfaction with their results, and seeing their physical and mental image of themselves be realized. She graduated with a Bachelors degree at the City University of New York in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Yelilsa is inspired daily by her husband and their four children. In her free time, Yelilsa likes to hike, watch foreign movies while wearing her favorite facemask, and going to the beach with her family and their dog Coco.

I offer a tender massage for a relaxing experience or I can provide a deep tissue massage to relieve body pressure and stress. I have five years client experience as a licensed massage therapist.
